getting there

Staying over at Auckland Airport for a few hours was boring but worth it for the cost savings (I think!). I used the free internet kiosks a few separate times - they're meant to be maximum 15 minutes. Not much else to do.

Air New Zealand seem to have a fair few older male flight attendants. Just something different... Also, I think there were two captains on the flight from Auckland to Hong Kong, and one dude with three stripes. I also managed to give myself a papercut on the inflight entertainment manual.

The nothing to declare path at Hong Kong was funny - just a smiling middle-aged man letting people out. The people looking at body temperature for Swine Flu were pretty relaxed too. Although my flight did come an hour ahead of schedule in the ridiculously early morning.



There should be some interesting times ahead, although it's a tad daunting right now. :)
